ABSTRACT
The runaway electrons produced during spontaneous disruptions were studied when lower hybrid wave heating was used in the EAST tokamak. Up to of pre-disruptive plasma current can be transferred seed fast exist plasma. evolutions radial profile electric field and electron density are obtained with aid an one-dimensional self-consistent simulation model. results clearly show competition between diffusion induced growth current. They also indicate that dominant generation mechanism Dreicer type, half decreasing magnetic energy converted into kinetic disruptions.
