ABSTRACT
Introduction: The Glycemia Risk Index (GRI) and Continuous Glucose Monitoring (COGI) are newly defined composite metric parameters derived from continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) data. GRI is divided into five separate risk zones (from lowest to highest: A-E). In this study, the effect of advanced hybrid closed loop (AHCL) system on COGI in children with type 1 diabetes was evaluated. Materials Methods: Forty-five who had started using AHCL whose baseline sixth-month CGM data were available analyzed terms achievement consensus goals changes scores zones. paired t-test used for analyses. Results: mean age duration participants 10.95 ± 3.41 3.85 2.67 years, respectively. score significantly decreased 35.66 17.46 at 22.83 9.08 6 months (P < 0.001). Although proportion those A zone 20% baseline, it increased 42% months. also improved 72.59 12.44 82.90 7.72 Time range (TIR) 70.54% 80.51% 0.001) Conclusion: provides not only an improvement TIR but a significant both incorporation alongside may enhance assessment glycemic profile by providing more comprehensive in-depth analysis.
