Background: Treatment of type 1 diabetes mellitus (T1DM) has become increasingly technical with rapid developments in integration pumps and sensors to regulate insulin dosage, patient-initiated solutions as open-source automated delivery (OS-AID) systems, have gained popularity people diabetes.
