ABSTRACT
The European Organization of Research and Treatment Cancer (EORTC) Quality Life Questionnaire - Core 15 Palliative (EORTC QLQ-C15-PAL) was developed to assess quality life (QOL) for the palliative cancer population decrease patient burden. purpose this study compare predictive factors well-being in QLQ-C15-PAL extracted from EORTC 30 (QLQ-C30) with QLQ-C30 itself.Patients advanced referred treatment bone metastases completed QLQ-C30. Fifteen items were Univariate multivariate analyses used determine global QOL/health score both tools. In analyses, a p value <0.003 indicated statistical significance.Overall, similar when analyzing data Predictive role functioning (p<0.0001), fatigue nausea/vomiting financial problems (p<0.0001) physical (p<0.0001).Extraction resulted QOL domains all subgroups analyzed individually. is reflective recommended future studies involving patients setting, as shorter questionnaire reduces burden may increase accrual compliance, while maintaining breadth coverage achieving same ability.
