Mantispidae (Neuroptera) of Mexico: Distribution and Key to Genera

Adult specimens of the Mexican Mantispidae were recorded from Colección Nacional de Insectos, Universidad Autónoma México, and Entomológica del Centro Estudios en Zoología, Guadalajara, as well literature. Specimens examined (n = 270) represented three subfamilies, 11 species nine genera, five morphospecies. Our studies reveal 23 Mexico. Distribution records are presented by country province, locality. Six new state records. An illustrated key to genera is provided, a list pertinent taxonomic literature for identification. Species richness generally discussed.
