ABSTRACT
Abstract Summary: Development of effective tools such as oligo-microarrays and next-generation sequencing methods for monitoring gene expression on a large scale has resulted in the discovery signatures with prognostic/predictive value various malignant neoplastic diseases. However, exponential growth databases, biologists are faced challenge extracting useful information from these repositories. Here, we present software package, BioPlat (Biomarkers Platform), which allows to identify novel prognostic predictive cancer biomarkers based data mining profiling databases. been designed an easy-to-use flexible desktop application, provides set analytical related extraction, preprocessing, filtering, signature calculation, silico validation, feature selection annotation that leverage integration reuse context follow-up data. Availability implementation: is platform-independent implemented Java supported GNU/Linux MS Windows, freely available download at http://www.cancergenomics.net.
