ABSTRACT
The field of men's health has grown markedly over the past few decades. Increased activity specifically relating to promotion in both Australia and UK been noted during this period. There has, however, a reticence critically examine work within broader discourse gender relations. Indeed, vast majority health-related discussion date focused on women's experiences their practices. In paper, we argue that grounding broad is important for building an evidence base in, advancing, at range levels. We explore research, practice policy contexts UK, describe facilitators for, barriers to, promoting health. conclude by suggesting critical lens ought be applied current provide strategies researchers, practitioners makers move towards new frontier.
