Toward Inclusive Digital Mobility Services: a Population Perspective

ABSTRACT
Abstract Digital mobility services have great potential to increase passengers’ transportation options, improve their experiences and reduce exclusion. However, these advantages are only available those who can access use effectively. To facilitate the development of inclusive services, information is needed on range users’ technology access, use, attitudes capabilities. A population-representative survey examining characteristics was carried out with 1010 participants in Germany 2020. The results examined for groups intersections identified previous work as particularly vulnerable either digital or Older people, people disabilities low education levels had all variables. Caution thus required when rolling services. Non-digital alternatives ensure an service any interfaces need be designed carefully usable by reassuring novices.
