ABSTRACT
Develop a questionnaire to assess family-based feeding strategies, strengths, and mealtime structure for use with children problems; validate this new instrument caregivers of young from the community specialty feeding-clinic; examine preliminary evidence reliability validity.Community (n = 702) seeking services at pediatric clinic 288) completed Feeding Strategies Questionnaire (FSQ). A smaller portion these families also an established measure.Exploratory confirmatory factor analyses were conducted develop FSQ that resulted in six scales: Mealtime Structure, Consistent Schedule, Child Control Intake, Parent Between Meal Grazing Encourages Clean Plate. Evidence validity was obtained.It appears can aid assessment strategies relevant prevention or treatment difficulties.
