ABSTRACT
We investigated the clinical outcomes of helical tomotherapy in 23 patients aged ≥80 years with localized and locally advanced prostate cancer compared results data from 171 under 80 years. All received our hospital between September 2009 October 2012. The median follow-up periods were 35 months group 34 younger group. prescribed dose was 78 Gy 39 fractions (range, 72–78 Gy). 3-year overall survival biochemical relapse-free rates 92% 96% 99.4% 97.3% group, respectively.
