ABSTRACT
We present observations at 1.1 mm towards 16 powerful radio galaxies and a radio-quiet quasar 0.5<z<6.3 acquired with the AzTEC camera mounted JCMT ASTE to study spatial distribution of submillimeter possible protocluster regions. The survey covers total area 1.01 square degrees rms depths 0.52 - 1.44 mJy detects 728 sources above 3sigma. find overdensities factor ~2 in source counts 3 individual fields (4C+23.56, PKS1138-262 MRC0355-037) over areas ~200 sq deg. When combining all fields, source-count analysis finds an overdensity that reaches $\gtrsim 3$ S$_{\rm{1.1mm}} \ge 4$ covering 1.5-arcmin-radius centred on AGN. large size our maps allows us establish beyond radius 1.5 arcmin, radial surface density SMGs falls blank field. In addition, we trend for align closely perpendicular direction respect jets central (73$_{+13}^{-14}$ degrees). This misalignment is found projected co-moving scales 4-20 Mpc, departs from perfect alignment (0 deg) by ~5sigma, apparently has no dependence SMG luminosity. Under assumption are redshift galaxy, reported here can be interpreted as preferentially inhabiting mass-dominant filaments funneling material protoclusters, which also parent structures galaxies.
