ABSTRACT
Epigenetic clocks are accurate predictors of human chronological age based on the analysis DNA methylation (DNAm) at specific CpG sites. However, a systematic comparison between data and other omics datasets has not yet been performed. Moreover, available DNAm with limited ethnic representation. To address these knowledge gaps, we generated analyzed from two independent Chinese cohorts, revealing age-related changes. Additionally, aging clock (iCAS-DNAmAge) group DNAm-based multi-modal for individuals were developed, most them demonstrating strong predictive capabilities age. The further employed to predict factors influencing rates. clock, derived features (compositeAge-DNAmAge), exhibited close association multi-omics changes, lifestyles, disease status, underscoring its robust potential precise biological assessment. Our findings offer novel insights into regulatory mechanism changes extend application measuring pace, providing basis evaluating intervention strategies.
