ABSTRACT
Abstract Tissue regeneration is a hot topic in the field of biomedical research this century. Material composition, surface topology, light, ultrasonic, electric and magnetic fields (MFs) all have important effects on process. Among them, MFs can provide nearly non-invasive signal transmission within biological tissues, materials convert into series signals related to processes, such as mechanical force, heat, drug release, etc. By adjusting materials, desired cellular or molecular-level responses be achieved promote better tissue regeneration. This review summarizes definition, classification latest progress engineering. It also explores differences potential applications different cells, aiming connect magnetism various subfields engineering new insights for use
