ABSTRACT
About 5 to 10 percent of the population in developed countries are affected by autoimmune diseases. One most important disease with high prevalence rate is Multiple sclerosis which there currently no definitive cure for it, and medications such as interferons used only limit disease. The present study aims investigate effect using Asparagus Officinalis fractions an immune system mediated model multiple sclerosis.Fractionation was performed maceration n-hexane, chloroform, chloroform-methanol (9: 1), n-Butanol methanol solvents from aerial parts Officinalis. Thin layer chromatography, NMR phenolic component measurement were done two selected checking MS induced vivo model. It observed that chloroform-methanolic N-Butanol had higher content saponin comparison other extracts. Also, it showed methanolic extracts contains highestportion glycosylic steroid saponins fractions. Regarding experimental encephalomyelitis (EAE) score, Butanolic doses 100mg/kg a potent supportive effects long locomotor activity protection even lower dose phosphate buffered saline (PBS) group.Considering proved different compounds on we those altered circulatory peripheral blood cells also remit clinical signs after EAE induction along enhanced myelin sheath median region corpus callusom. It could be inferred this promising candidates further investigation dose-dependent regulating patients.
