ABSTRACT
Reduced sensitivity to demethylation inhibitor (DMI) and quinone outside (QoI) fungicides in Nothopassalora personata, the cause of late leaf spot peanut (Arachis hypogaea), complicates management this disease Southeastern United States. Mixtures with protectant may help preserve use members both DMI QoI fungicide groups for management. Field experiments were conducted Tifton, GA, from 2019 2021 Plains, during 2020. The primary objective was determine effects mixtures tebuconazole mefentrifluconazole azoxystrobin pyraclostrobin micronized elemental sulfur on fields populations N. personata suspected reduced fungicides. In four experiments, efficacies chlorothalonil as mixing partners also compared. most cases, standardized area under progress curve (sAUDPC) final percentage defoliation less all mixed or than respective alone. sAUDPC similar when fungicide. These results indicate that either can improve control compared has potential an alternative tank mixes where is currently being used a partner control.
