ABSTRACT
Understanding the level and type of resistance in potato varieties is relevant for integrating varietal into management late blight. Accordingly, 54 were tested their to blight 2019 2020 Denmark. Spreader rows artificially inoculated ensure an even inoculum distribution trial. Disease severity was assessed once or twice per week. Cluster analysis (CA) done based on weighted mean absolute rate (WMAR), relative area under disease progress curve, onset (Xo), middle season, time reach 1% severity, final maximum severity. The types determined by comparing Bintje (susceptible reference) Xo WMAR. CA ranked as susceptible, moderately resistant, very resistant resistance. Except a few varieties, expressed levels varied between years. Several that susceptible 2020. Also, exhibited from year year. In 2020, most race-specific resistance, while they mostly showed characteristics. variation years highlights importance regularly monitoring across space.
