ABSTRACT
Xylella fastidiosa ( Xf) is a vascular phytopathogenic bacterium native to the Americas, known for causing severe diseases and significant economic losses in important crops. In Europe, Xf considered quarantine pathogen. Since its first detection 2013 Italy, mandatory surveys search across Europe have revealed presence of three subspecies fastidiosa, multiplex, pauca) different outbreaks occurring France, Spain, Portugal. sandyi morus not been associated with epidemic Europe; however, has detected intercepted plants imported from Costa Rica Honduras. By combining data Oxford Nanopore Technologies Illumina sequencing platforms, we obtained complete genomes strains CO33 CFBP8478. Both belong were isolated coffee that Rica. These two genome resources increase scarce number available belonging sandyi, which crucial comparative genomic analysis population studies this plant-pathogenic bacterium.
