ABSTRACT
Colorectal cancer (CRC) is one of the most prevalent neoplasms and presents a multifactorial complex etiopathogenesis, not yet fully elucidated. Studies have shown that tumors right colon differ significantly from left colon, because they present greater risks metastasis, are less responsive exhibit different predictive prognostic markers. Some these markers been studied, such as tetraspanin CO029 protein, which favors cell motility, epithelial‐mesenchymal (EMT) neoplastic stem (CSC) markers, associated with loss differentiation. According to studies, three cited closely tumor progression. It has already observed in RCC cells high expression. Therefore, analysis expression profile other may become potential tools for this neoplasia. Thus, objective study evaluate gene protein correlate laterality EMT CSC it proposed use human samples affected by neoplasia histopathological stages, evaluation immunohistochemical protein. In addition, we will mentioned through extraction messenger RNA (mRNA) samples, quantitative PCR (qRT‐PCR). The clinical data patients be used correlation Currently our efforts concentrated qRT‐PCR CCR, where located CO029, corroborating works associate intensification due function give motility cell. We jointly conducting production anti‐tetraspanin monoclonal antibodies vitro methodology, labeling future projects, tested therapy. phase selection positive hybridomas. Considering number cases increasing Brazil world, important carry out studies elucidate This project relevant when refer possible therapeutic targets, make treatment personalized possibly more efficient.
