ABSTRACT
Ricinus communis has a great economical importance due to the extracted oil of its seeds that is used for biodiesel synthesis. After extraction, castor meal containing high protein level obtained, however, it can not be animal consumption toxic (ricin) and allergenic (2S albumin) proteins. Two processes detoxification allergens inactivation were proposed. In addition, detection ricin, biological test was introduced. this test, Vero cells treated with ricin cell death measured by counting measuring LDH activity. The minimum amount needed kill 1.6 × 10 5 ng/mL. As cake treatments, solid‐state fermentation (SSF) treatment calcium compounds used. For SSF, Aspergillus niger grown on mea, analysed after 24, 48, 72 96. eliminated 24 hours treatments 4% 8% CaCO 3 , Ca(OH) 2 CaO. During lipases also produced adding value meal. By other hand, treatment, properties cake, totally abolished safe by‐product obtained.
