ABSTRACT
The objectives of this study were to examine the quantity adult words, adult-child conversational turns, and electronic media in auditory environments toddlers who are hard hearing (HH) whether these factors contributed variability children's communication outcomes.Participants 28 children with mild severe loss. Full-day recordings collected within 6 months their second birthdays by using Language ENvironment Analysis technology. system analyzes full-day acoustic recordings, yielding estimates exposure recordings. Children's outcomes assessed via receptive expressive scales Mullen Scales Early Learning at 2 years age Comprehensive Assessment Spoken 3 age.On average, HH exposed approximately 1400 words per hour participated 60 turns hour.
