ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study was to compare various gender and ethnic groups characterize differences in baseline version rates retroversion.Retrospective.Level 1 trauma center.Between 2000 2009, 417 consecutive patients with femur fractures were treated an intramedullary nail at level I tertiary referral center. There no statistically significant between African American, white, Hispanic males or females. Although there also ethnicities, retroversion found be common white (21.4%), American (15.1%), females (>14.3%). Furthermore, nearly 6% both exhibited >10° retroversion.Although may not a difference average femoral groups, is relatively common, observed population. This have important implications proper restoration successful clinical outcomes after nailing fractures.
