ABSTRACT
In a 48-year-old male patient, well-circumscribed, round tumor in the lacrimal fossa was detected by CT. During total excision of tumor, wall ruptured, resulting leakage fluid contents. The formed cyst that contained residual yellowish fluid. Histologically, included an adenocarcinomatous component and focus pleomorphic adenoma. diagnosed as carcinoma ex adenoma gland. cells showed positive immunoreactivity for androgen receptor BRST-2, indicating equivalent to salivary duct carcinoma. Postoperatively, patient underwent involved field irradiation. This case demonstrates gland may develop cyst.
