ABSTRACT
Venous malformations of the skin and subcutaneous tissue are compressible, blue-purple tumors that present at birth. According to location symptoms caused, venous can be treated with surgery, sclerotherapy, or a combination both. Laser therapy also used, especially when surgery is contraindicated. We report case 24-year-old man who presented malformation on upper lower left eyelids, which provoked mechanical ptosis. Treatment sequential pulsed-dye neodymium yttrium aluminum garnet (PDL-Nd:YAG) laser was performed. After 2 treatments, marked reduction volume blanching observed, satisfactory cosmetic results. The PDL-Nd:YAG seems an effective safe for treatment cutaneous malformations. It penetrates deeper than alone, because it allows use fluencies Nd:YAG reduces risk adverse effects.
