ABSTRACT
Kocuria species are members of skin and oral microflora generally regarded as nonpathogenic colonization. These organisms commonly cause invasive device-related infections, especially in patients who have underlying chronic disease. Up to now, infective endocarditis caused by was documented only one immunocompromised patient had predisposing factors central venous catheter. We describe the first case kristinae involving 2 native valves a diabetic without implantable device. It successfully controlled with antibacterial therapy replacement mitral aortic valves. Unusual microorganisms such K should be kept mind also
