The Relation Between Family Adversity and Social Anxiety Among Adolescents in Taiwan

ABSTRACT
This study aimed to examine the relationship between three indicators of family adversity (domestic violence, substance use, and broken parental marriage) severity social anxiety among adolescents in Taiwan, as well mediating effects perceived function self-esteem on that relationship, using structural equation modeling (SEM). A total 5607 completed subscale Multidimensional Anxiety Scale for Children; Family APGAR Index; Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale; a questionnaire domestic marriage.
