ABSTRACT
High-grade neuroendocrine carcinoma (HGNEC) is subclassified into small cell (SmCC) and large (LCNEC). Although both are clinically aggressive, the SmCC LCNEC need to have different treatment strategies, accurate pathologic diagnosis challenging. We studied a retrospective cohort (186 cases) of HGNEC bladder lung investigate abundance cytokeratin (CK) 7 expression staining pattern in LCNEC. Overall, pulmonary urinary exhibited several CK7 patterns, including negative (n=28), dot-like (n=73), partial membranous (n=26), complete (n=60). 88.9% (44/49) 88.0% (44/50) showed or patterns for CK7, while 90.8% (59/65) 72.7% (16/22) (χ 2 =105.05, P <0.0001). The distinct were also present those mixed In addition, specimen types fixation did not affect patterns. conclusion, has high differential value could help guide personalized patients.
