ABSTRACT
Background: The purpose of this study was to evaluate retrospectively the patients who had undergone radial nerve reconstruction. Methods: medical charts 35 with lesions and 13 superficial underwent surgical exploration repair in authors' center were reviewed. outcomes analyzed relation various factors, such as age at injury, denervation time, level length graft, type Results: With regard nerve, good excellent motor results seen 27 cases (77.14 percent). Postoperative lateral pinch grip strength affected side equal 75.49 percent 76.42 those nonaffected side, respectively. Patient age, associated injuries, reconstruction significantly influenced functional outcome. For sensory 10 (76.92 Postoperatively, pain scores graded 69.23 23.07 patients. Conclusions: Better achieved younger patients, time 3 months or less, continuity, without distal lesions, neurolysis, grafts less than 5 cm long. Functional following microsurgical injuries are encouraging should be pursued.
