ABSTRACT
Waders sign is an edematous manifestation characterized by soft-tissue uptake of tracer below the midthorax and normal clearance above that level on bone scan, resembling a pair fisherman's waders. This was previous reported to be resultant from inferior vena cava obstruction. We describe portal hypertensive patient manifested as waders feature proved not having thrombotic disease. Because management thrombosis significantly different nonthrombotic cause, distinction clinically relevant. The recognition this circulatory dysfunction may yield clues orient therapeutic approaches leg edema.
