Thirty-six located subpleural parenchyma, whereas others parenchyma near other harder structures. Follow-up examinations demonstrated that air-filled cavities air-fluid could turn into hematomas eventually resolved without specific treatment. The 11 to 82 days. resolving time cavity (mean, 47.5 days) was significantly longer than 16.3 days; p = 0.001). Three died acute respiratory distress syndrome or head trauma. No patient PPP. Twelve serious pneumothorax, hemothorax, both cured surgical hemostasis and/or drainage. Eighteen treatment.Computed tomography increased frequency PPP diagnosis accurately characteristics lesions. Air-filled pseudocysts more quickly those containing fluid. outcome can be favorable does not require follow-up CT scan intervention absence complications.Prognostic/epidemiologic study, level V.
