ABSTRACT
The authors performed nerve conduction studies on 54 hands in patients referred with the clinical diagnosis of carpal tunnel syndrome. studied motor and sensory latencies median ulnar nerves compared them each other. divided results into no, mild, moderate, or severe correlated these presences absence Phalen's sign. concluded that sign is present mostly moderate to entrapment, but still can sometimes be as a false positivity normal hands.
