ABSTRACT
No longitudinal molecular epidemiology of parechovirus A3 (PeV-A3) over a decade is available and PeV-A3-associated myalgia/myositis has been reported only in Japan. Thus, we aimed to clarify the PeV-A3 with major focus on strains detected from cases. We performed sequence phylogenetic analysis for VP1 region Yamagata, Japan, between 2003 2016. The indicated that caused as well variety infectious diseases, ranging mild severe, subjects neonates adults, irrespective genetic cluster or variations. are causative agents human their cluster. Furthermore, consider may occur, not but also other countries, closely related have circulating around world.
