Among 1565 samples tested from children, 41 (2.6%) were positive HEV 223 (14.3%) human rhinovirus (HRV). Seven (17.1%) HEVs HEV-68. Two HEV-68- five HRV-positive detected 585 adult samples. predominant type acute tract infection (ARTI), followed by HEV-71 coxsackievirus A6. Three HEV-68-infected presented severe pneumonia one a asthma attack. The viruses attributed two novel distinct sublineages based on phylogenetic analysis partial VP1 gene sequences. Migration showed that USA Netherlands possible geographical sources HEV-68, where three strains migrated China. conclusion, may play role among enteroviruses ARTI children. Additional surveillance needed clarify reason why causes such wide spectrum disease, asymptomatic disease even death.
