ABSTRACT
A novel virus was detected from diseased ducks and completely determined. The shown to have a picornavirus-like genome layout. Interestingly, the contained total of up six 2As, including four 2As (2A1-2A4) each having an NPGP motif, AIG1-like 2A5, parechovirus-like 2A6. 5'UTR predicted possess hepacivirus/pestivirus-like internal ribosome entry site (IRES). However, subdomain IIIe consisted 3 nt stem five unpaired bases, distinct those found in all other HP-like IRESs. most closely related duck hepatitis virus, with amino acid identities 37.7 %, 39 % 43.7 P1, P2 P3 regions, respectively. Based on these investigations, together phylogenetic analyses, could be considered as founding member picornavirus genus that we tentatively named 'Aalivirus', 'Aalivirus A' type species.
