ABSTRACT
Objectives: This study aimed to investigate changes in auditory processing using steady state response (ASSR) patients with idiopathic tinnitus. Method: 19 tinnitus and 23 control subjects without were examined multiple ASSR. Three modulation frequencies of 20, 40, 80HZ tested the responses compared between group. Further, thresholds ipsi- contralateral side ear sensation compared. Results: Our findings showed no significant difference ASSR However, we observed enhanced ASSRs at 40 80Hz Idiopathic no-tinnitus subjects. Conclusions: The results this suggest possible sensory deficits along higher order regions our data indicates a bilateral involvement pathway these lateralized
