ABSTRACT
We numerically investigate the high-efficiency photovoltaic effect in lateral p-n homojunction based on monolayer black phosphorus (MBP) by using non-equilibrium Green's function combined with density functional theory. Due to built-in electric field of junction and wrinkle structure MBP, photocurrent excited either linearly or elliptically polarized light is significantly enhanced a wide photon energy range. Moreover, because electron-photon interaction, related atomic orbitals through polarizing angle light. Therefore, we can read orbital information band from angular distribution photocurrent. These findings suggest promising application MBP-based photoelectric devices orbital-resolved detection.
