ABSTRACT
The impact of variable Ti self-doping on the 1T-TiSe2 charge density wave (CDW) is studied by scanning tunneling microscopy. Supported functional theory we show that agglomeration intercalated-Ti atoms acts as preferential nucleation centers for CDW breaks up in phaseshifted domains whose size directly depends concentration and which are separated atomically-sharp phase boundaries. close relationship between diminution domain disappearance anomalous peak temperature dependent resistivity allows to draw a coherent picture transition its relation excitons.
