ABSTRACT
We present the first calculation of jet transport coefficient $\stackrel{^}{q}$ in quenched and ($2+1$)-flavor QCD on a 4D Euclidean lattice. The lightlike propagation an energetic parton is factorized from mean square gain momentum transverse to direction propagation, which expressed terms thermal field-strength correlator. leading-twist term its operator product expansion calculated Continuum extrapolated results, full estimates based unrenormalized lattice data, over multiple sizes, are compared with (non)perturbative calculations phenomenological extractions $\stackrel{^}{q}$. data for show temperature dependence similar entropy density. Within uncertainties, these consistent extractions, contrary using perturbation theory.
