ABSTRACT
We calculate the next-to-next-to-leading-order (NNLO) QCD radiative correction to pion electromagnetic form factor with large momentum transfer. explicitly verify validity of collinear factorization two-loop order for this observable and obtain respective IR-finite hard-scattering kernel in closed form. The NNLO turns out be positive significant. Incorporating new ingredient correction, we then make a comprehensive comparison between finest theoretical predictions numerous data both space- timelike factors. Our phenomenological analysis provides strong constraint on second Gegenbauer moment light-cone distribution amplitude obtained from recent lattice studies.
