In this paper, the limits of a Four-Wires Three-Level Neutral Point Clamped (4W-3L-NPC) inverter used as only interface between Hybrid Energy Storage System (HESS) supplied by renewable energy system and MicroGrid are under investigation. The investigation focus on power division exchange capabilities among Redox Flow Battery (VRB) Lithium-Ion (Li-Ion) battery, two storage systems investigated in context MicroGrid. final objective work is to define topology prove its capacity manage flow HESS weak grid, well inside HESS.
