ABSTRACT
This article proposes an improved switched-capacitor multilevel inverter (MLI) that utilizes fewer components. The switched capacitors (SCs) are employed with the dc sources in proposed configuration to minimize number of dc-links structure, which keeps structure compact and combinable. Those enjoy a self-charging susceptibility ability balance naturally. suggested supports expansion process catch up satisfactory output power levels based on slight increase components count. targeted application for this involves renewable energy system (RES) exploit extracted electrical inject it into grid. suggests developed PWM controller control system's operation. controlling scheme has adjust voltages keep generating regular voltage. Furthermore, helps extracting maximum available from resources. Meanwhile, injects real component grid, guarantees unit factor operation enhances grid's performance. simulation results both sides RES carried out MATLAB/Simulink, these verified experimentally through dSPACE-1103 hardware.
