ABSTRACT
A Sagnac interferometer based on a short section of PANDA fiber for high sensitivity temperature measurement has been proposed and experimentally demonstrated. The principle this is theoretically analyzed by Jones Matrix. Extremely up to <formula formulatype="inline" xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink"><tex Notation="TeX">${-}$</tex></formula> 1.46 nm/ Notation="TeX">$^{\circ}$</tex></formula> C achieved, together with compact size, capability remote monitoring, makes it good candidate various in-field sensing applications.
