ABSTRACT
The interrogation technology plays a key role in high resolution fiber grating sensors. Due to the sensitivity and quick response, Pound-Drever-Hall (PDH) technique is one of most successful methods sensor systems. However, traditional PDH can only interrogate sensing element with limited measurement range, can't fully exploit capability optical To break through this limitation, lots efforts have been put improve technique. This article reviews recent improvements on towards large range low probe power interrogation. Sideband method order are proposed expand without tuning laser frequency; In enable interrogation, which essential multiplexed sensing, coherent active techniques developed. Those will promote further development provide powerful tools for high-resolution applications.
