ABSTRACT
Photonics-aided terahertz (THz) wireless systems have been progressively developed to accommodate the forthcoming communication with extremely high data rates in recent years. However, restrained by obtainable signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and dimensions explored THz photonic systems, achieving of Tbit/s beyond is still challenging. In this paper, we present a multi-dimensional multiplexing THz-over-Fiber system, efficiently benefiting from gain both optical wavelength space domains. Enabled combined routine an frequency comb, low inter-core crosstalk (IC-XT) multi-core fiber advanced digital signal processing, line rate up 1176 Gbit/s over distance 10 m 350 GHz band experimentally demonstrated without any amplifiers, resulting net 1059 Gbit/s. To best our knowledge, first time that successfully achieved region above 300 GHz, making significant contribution development for sixth generation (6G) communication.
