ABSTRACT
We propose a microwave photonic frequency measurement scheme based dual-polarization dual-drive Mach-Zehnder modulator (DP-DDMZM) and -to-time mapping. A compact system is guaranteed thanks to the use of single modulator, multi-tone ability achieved due principle frequency-to-time In proposed scheme, unknown signal mixed with linearly chirped help DP-DDMZM, mixing product selected by an electrical bandpass filter achieve Single are successfully demonstrated in experiment, errors less than ± 3 MHz.
