ABSTRACT
We introduce an energy consumption analysis of complex digital systems through a case study ARM7TDMI RISC processor by using new measurement technique. developed cycle-accurate system based on charge transfer which is robust to spiky noise and capable collecting range power profiles in real time. The relative variation the core measured changing op-code, instruction fetch address, register number, value, data immediate operand value each pipeline stage, respectively. demonstrated characterization pipelined for high-level reduction.
