ABSTRACT
Unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) systems are of increasing interest to academia and industry due their mobility, flexibility, maneuverability, an effective alternative various uses such as surveillance mobile edge computing. However, limited computational communications resources, it is difficult serve all computation tasks simultaneously. This article tackles this problem by first proposing a scalable computing solution, which applicable for multiple quality levels, corresponding different workloads results distinct performance. It opens up the possibility maximally improve overall performance with resources. To meet demands timely video analysis that exceed power UAV, we propose streaming enabled cooperative namely, UAVideo, streams videos from UAV ground servers. As complement computing, UAVideo minimizes time under constraints on trajectory, features, Simulation reveal substantial advantages proposed solutions. Furthermore, highlight relevant directions future research.
