ABSTRACT
It is common for Web searchers to have difficulties crafting queries fulfil their information needs. Even when they provide a good query, users often find it challenging evaluate the results of searches. Sources these problems include lack support query refinement, and static nature list-based representations search results. To address issues, we developed WordBars, an interactive tool retrieval. WordBars visually represents frequencies terms found in first 100 document surrogates returned from initial query. This system allows interactively re-sort based on selected within surrogates, as well add remove generating new set Examples illustrate how can valuable refinement exploration, both specific vague are provided
