Interactive Web Information Retrieval Using WordBars

It is common for Web searchers to have difficulties crafting queries fulfil their information needs. Even when they provide a good query, users often find it challenging evaluate the results of searches. Sources these problems include lack support query refinement, and static nature list-based representations search results. To address issues, we developed WordBars, an interactive tool retrieval. WordBars visually represents frequencies terms found in first 100 document surrogates returned from initial query.
