ABSTRACT
Based on the available literature, it can be assumed that in cases of post-infarct heart failure (HF) and obesity, a significant change central regulation cardiovascular system takes place with, among others, involvement apelinergic system. The main objective present study was to clarify role apelin-13 Sprague Dawley rats with HF or sham operated (SO) fed normal fat (NFD) high diet (HFD). divided into two parts: Part I, hemodynamic studies; II, biochemical molecular studies. animals were subjected following research procedures. I II: feeding NFD HFD; experimental induction SO; I: intracerebroventricular (ICV) infusion examined substances, monitoring mean arterial blood pressure (MABP) rate (HR); venous tissue samples collected. ICV caused significantly higher changes ΔMABP SO group. No noted ΔHR any studied groups. Apelin apelin receptor (APJ) mRNA expression brain adipose tissues rats. HFD causes increase APJ left ventricle. In conclusion, appear play an important modifying activity receptor.
