ABSTRACT
To estimate the incidence of urinary incontinence (UI), including its subtypes stress UI (SUI), urgency (UUI) and mixed (MUI), to examine risk factors for de novo SUI UUI in Chinese women.Nationwide longitudinal study.Six geographic regions China.Women aged ≥20 years old were included using a multistage, stratified, cluster sampling method.This study was conducted between May 2014 March 2016, with follow up 2018. Data on demographics, medical history, lifestyle physiological anthropometric information collected.Incidence, rate ratio (RR).Analyses 24 985 women (mean age 41.9 years).The follow-up response 55.5%, median time 3.7 years. The standardised incidences UI, SUI, MUI 21.2, 13.1, 3.0 5.1 per 1000 person-years, respectively. Risk delivery pattern (vaginal spontaneous RR 2.12, 95% CI 1.62-2.78 instrumental 3.30, 1.99-5.45), high body mass index (BMI) (overweight 1.52, 1.33-1.74 obesity 1.67, 1.32-2.11), cigarette smoking (RR 1.54, 1.12-2.12), chronic cough 1.44, 1.17-1.76), diabetes 1.33, 1.10-1.60) older (50-59 1.49, 1.16-1.90 60-69 1.61, 1.22-2.13).The significantly associated increased from 1.21, 0.74-1.99, at 30-39 6.3, 3.85-10.30, >70 years) 1.48, 1.05-2.09).The female is 21.2 person-years China.
