ABSTRACT
This study aims to investigate the potential association of peripheral inflammatory blood cell parameters with incidence and progression chronic kidney disease (CKD) in patients diabetes. The cross-sectional included 1192 subjects diabetes derived from one center. The cohort 2060 another two centers followed up for 4 years. Logistic regression Cox proportional hazards models were used evaluate CKD.In study, neutrophil count performed best as an independent risk factor CKD (odds ratio 2.556 [95% confidence interval 1.111, 5.879]) even after 1:1 case-control matching age, gender, history high pressure duration diabetes. Spline revealed a significant linear continuous excess 3.6 × 109 /L. In grouped based on tertile neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio. analysis results showed that only was independently associated (the highest group vs. lowest group, hazard 2.293 1.260, 4.171]) fully adjusting confounders. cumulative gradually increased increasing (53 (7.7%) 60 (8.2%) middle 78 (12.2%) group). This suggested is diabetes. .
